Non-Exempt SUMMARY: The Cook I is responsible for preparing and
cooking a variety of food items according to recipes and
established standards. This role involves working in a fast-paced
kitchen environment, ensuring food quality and presentation, and
maintaining a clean and organized workspace. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications,
and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and food
preparation for daily operations and special events. Monitor food
inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain
cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment
and workstations. Follow health and safety guidelines, including
proper food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with
other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Participate in staff training and development as needed. Perform
other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or
equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred. Minimum of
2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and
safety standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in
a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow instructions and work
collaboratively as part of a team. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical
