Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: - · Assembles supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. - · Prepares sterile instrument table. - · Maintains aseptic techniques and actively monitors situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. - · Positions patient according to type of surgery. - · Assists the surgical team in surgical procedures which may include passing instruments, sponges and sutures. - · Maintains work area. - · Gathers equipment for cleaning and sterilization. - · Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. What you will need in this role: - · High School Diploma or GED. - · 1 - 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred. - · Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS certification). - · Call required - Fingerprinting required HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility.
