Job Description:

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Senior Business Associate for its Miami, FL location.Duties:

• Understand each type of product the business offers to clients, the use to hedge internal exposures, and manage the franchise liquidity.
• Provide daily support to Markets Heads, Sales, and Traders in discussions about supporting areas, policies and regulations impacts, and identify business risks.
• Require Corporate Treasury knowledge of activities and governance processes, including liquidity, capital, interest rate risk, and transfer pricing.
• Support the Markets Heads in supervision responsibilities, potential breaches, and escalations.
• Control knowledge of Citi Markets End-to-End of Sales & Trading, Markets Treasury, Operations, Finance, and Compliance activities.
• Calculate revenues by product, mark-to-market of the portfolio, US GAAP accounting classification, and Citi management systems report to identify differences and process enhancements.
• Support the Markets Head who is also local Treasurer responsible for liquidity and capital management, interest rate risk, transfer pricing, and the Assets & Liabilities Committees ("ALCO").
• Ensure compliance and a robust control environment.
• Discuss with the Treasurers about processes and controls enhancements to comply with corporate policies, US and Local regulations.
• Handle and lead Internal Audit and Regulatory reviews of the countries.A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Business, Accounting, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the Financial Services industry.
• Six (6) years of experience must include:
• Overseeing Market products and strategy on Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Securities, and Derivatives and hedging internal exposures or the franchise liquidity.
• Solving operational issues at any point of the trade life cycle regarding finance activities (valuation and accounting on US GAAP Financials) or compliance activities (regulatory limits or reporting).
• Providing expert advisory to real-time market situations using operational controls to mitigate operational risks, client impacts, and reputational damages.
• Working as a Markets advocate to challenge Finance's profits & losses ("P&L") calculations.
• Performing Corporate Treasury activities and governance processes, including liquidity, capital, interest rate, and transfer pricing risks controls.
• Conducting Control Assessment ("MCA") of Markets business and Country Treasury.
